This is a lovely Beddlington Terrier, Lola, who sadly passed. Her owner wanted a memorial of her for her husband to paint. The photo needed a little bit of tweaking and I removed the arm and the Christmas decorations - if you look closely the very tip of her nose is cut off in the original photo, I carefully added a little extra to the artwork and recreated her nose tip by hand.
This customer first ordered a Girl with a Pearl Earring kit, and then a portrait of her daughter. Her husbands next painting project is this photo of cows. I love the reflections, and I can't wait to see the finished painting.
